PEN QENDRA E KOSOVËS

PEN Qendra e Kosovës është asociacion i poetëve, eseistëve, prozatorëve, publicistëve të Kosovës, i themeluar më 29 janar 2004 në Prishtinë.
Më 9 shtator 2004, në Kongresin e 70 në Tromso të Norvegjisë, PEN Qendra e Kosovës (Kosova PEN Center) u pranua zyrtarisht në gjirin e organizatës më të madhe botërore të shkrimtarëve, Internacional PEN me seli në Londër.
Që nga themelimi PEN Qendra e Kosovës ka zhvilluar aktivitetin e saj në prezantimin dhe promovimin e të arriturave letrare dhe artistike të Kosovës në botë dhe të të arriturave botërore, sidomos nga rajoni dhe Europa, në këtë fushë para opinionit kosovar.
Fushëveprimtaria e saj shtrihet edhe në botimin e veprave të ndryshme letrare, shkencore, publicistike, eseistike, në botimin e revistës letrare dhe kulturore „PEN Kosova“, si dhe në organizimin e konferencave dhe debateve me karakter kulturor, por edhe në pjesëmarrjen e anëtarëve të saj në aktivitete të rëndësishme jashtë vendit.
PEN Qendra e Kosovës e ka bordin e saj, ndërkaq kryetar i parë i saj ishte Basri Çapriqi
(1960-2018).
Selia e këtij asociacioni është në Prishtinë.

KOSOVA PEN CENTER

Kosovo PEN Center is an association of poets, essayists, prose writers, publicists of Kosovo, established on January 29, 2004 in Prishtina.

On September 9, 2004, at the 70th Congress in Tromso, Norway, the Kosovo PEN Center was officially admitted to the largest world organization of writers, the International PEN based in London.

Since its establishment, Kosovo PEN Center has developed its activity in presenting and promoting the literary and artistic achievements of Kosovo in the world and world achievements, especially from the region and Europe in the field before the Kosovo public.

Its scope extends to the publication of various literary, scientific, journalistic, essay works, to the publication of the literary and cultural magazine “PEN Kosova”, as well as to the organization of conferences and debates of a cultural nature, but also to the participation of its members in important activities abroad.
PEN Center of Kosovo has its own board, while its first chairman was Basri Çapriqi
(1960-2018).
The headquarters of this association is in Prishtina.
